You are obviously a loving family and very close...what a tribute to your amazing father! I lost my father to a stroke 6 years ago. Hold your memories tightly, they will sustain you. God bless you all...I know that your Father is with our God now and smiling at what a blessing of a son you are! Your dad had such glorious blessings in his family and he continues to live on in all of you. May God be with you all and help sustain you. His "Pyramid" was spoken of daily and how proud he was of all of the family accomplishments. Whale and I shared a love for sports (especially Baylor U sports)...he affectionately shared the BU "bear claw" every time we saw each other. Thanks for sharing him with us! We are deeply saddened for what has happened to your dad. I will always remember him sitting on the floor at the hospital, "erasing all the junk" on his cell phone while we visited, with him in his black knee high socks and shorts! Though neither Brian nor I knew him well, we know what a dear, dear treasure you have in your dad. All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source of every mercy and the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. I thought I was the only one! I think that is what is so incredible about him - he has made such an impact on so many lives, and at the same time he made each of us feel like we were just as precious to him as he is to us. My heart aches. I am praying for wisdom, unity in decisions, comfort and peace for the entire family. Like so many others, I wish I could be there. I believe the Lord knew this was something that the Presley family could and should go through with peace and privacy. You know any Dallas area hospital wouldn't be able to hold all of us!!! I praise God today for Dr. Mark. For the difference he has made in my life-and the lives of so many others. I know miracles happen. I am asking God for one today. Thank you Mark Jr for this blog. I have always thought how special it was that Dr. Mark made you a gift if you were going to be home for Christmas - those gifts are now more priceless than before. We continue to pray for each of you as you have this special time together and for each step you take from this point on. We ask for God's peace, comfort and strength. May the doctors, nurses, and patients desire to know our God before you leave that place as they witness the light that shines thru you.
